The Embrace Team

We celebrate and embrace neurodiversity and the intersectionality of our identities.

Elijah Franklin-Adams

Instructor

Elijah started working as an assistant in the Embrace summer program while attending school at Kansas State University. He made meaningful connections and came to work full time at Embrace after graduating with a degree in psychology.

Currently he is enjoying gaining experience with neurodivergent kids and young adults and learning as he teaches. He is pursuing his master’s degree in special education with a focus on applied behavior analysis at Arizona State University.

Elijah loves movies, video games, and traveling the world!

“From the moment we enrolled our son, we felt welcomed and supported by the caring and dedicated staff. The school has created an environment where our son is truly valued and nurtured, and it’s clear that their mission is to help each student reach their full potential. The teachers and therapists are exceptionally skilled and genuinely passionate about their work. They’ve taken the time to understand my son’s unique needs, strengths, and challenges, tailoring their approach to foster his growth. One of the most heartwarming aspects for us is how much our son truly enjoys going to Embrace each day. He loves sharing his interests with his teachers and comes home excited, eager to tell us what he’s learned. He especially looks forward to seeing Elijah. The bond he has formed with Elijah is incredible—he talks about him at home constantly and lovingly calls him “my best friend.”
