Jordan Mason
Instructor
Jordan has been working at Embrace since September 2023. He graduated from UNCG in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy. Since then, he has worked with autistic individuals in several different settings, such as a summer camp and an ABA clinic. His favorite thing about working at Embrace is making connections with students through what interests and motivates them.
Although my daughter Addie has worked with most of the staff at Embrace, Jordan is her lead instructor and therapist. Before seeking Embrace, there was a time when I felt we had reached a plateau in her development, but then in steps Jordan. He has an exceptional and innate ability to make his students feel seen and comfortable within the safe environment that the Embrace community provides. This comfort helps alleviate anxiety, allowing learning to progress. Jordan's unwavering positivity and eagerness to help each student thrive in acquiring new skills and navigating everyday life have been invaluable. He has truly been a breath of fresh air on our autism journey.
