Home School Support

Home School Support:

This program is for students who have a home program or other therapeutic services and are looking for collaboration, curriculum development, and instruction from behavior-based educators. We are focused on academic as well as social skills.

This program is for students who are home schooled or are otherwise not in a full-time school.  We support families who are looking for collaboration, curriculum development, and instruction from behavior-based educators. We are focused on academic as well as functional and social skills .

We currently have middle and high school students meeting for 2 or 3 days a week of small group instruction. Group and individual lessons cover math, language arts, social studies, science, art, and self-designed projects or interests (foreign language, cooking, etc). Some students receive additional home or community-based tutoring and ABA or speech therapy on days that they are not at the clinic.

Our program is expanding based on the needs of families. We have grown to serve the needs of students of all ages with language deficits and we are ready to grow to include Kindergarten and elementary school-aged kids in our home school program.

The focus of our home school program and curriculum is completely shaped by the needs of each student and family. Goals and instruction are data-driven and the small group setting is designed to reduce anxiety. Standardized testing is available to meet state requirements. Educational consultation, tutoring, and curriculum or goal development is also available for those not looking for the group setting.
